A "broken lattice" yukata made by Kondaya Genbei. The "broken lattice" pattern, which is said to have existed in the Edo period, is a design that follows the style of "Kabukimono" (a type of eccentric person), and is likened to breaking through the lattice, expressing the power and energy to break through the status quo, and a strong mentality. It is one of Kondaya Genbei's representative original patterns, redesigning traditional Japanese patterns with a modern aesthetic sense.
