 This item uses a gold-plated brocade obi, a representative work of Masuya Takao, a long-established Nishijin weaver.
 Nenkin Tsuzure Nishiki is a gorgeous fabric born from Takao's restoration of a fukusa (Japanese traditional cloth used in the Tokugawa Art Museum). It is made of a special material in which gold leaf is wrapped around silk thread, and is a masterpiece with a unique texture that combines the beautiful shine of gold and silver with the light texture of silk.
 (This item is made using a Nenkin Tsuzuri Nishiki obi, which is a representative work of Takao Masuya, a long-established weaving shop in Nishijin. Nenkin Tsuzuri Nishiki is a gorgeous textile created by Mr. Takao's restoration of a Fukusa from the Tokugawa Art Museum. It is made from a special material made of cotton thread wrapped in foil, and is a masterpiece with an impressive unique texture that combines the beautiful shine of gold and silver with the light texture of cotton.)
