[What is Futsuori?]

Futsuuori is a type of fabric that uses double warp and weft weaves, with the weave on the front and back reversed to match the pattern, creating the same pattern with reversed color schemes on the front and back of the fabric. It is also called double weave. It is said to have been named Futsuu because it is woven in a bag shape, allowing wind to pass through it.

Made with high-quality cotton thread, it has a soft texture and the color will not fade, so you can wash it at home.

It is made in a furoshiki style.

It is also popular for making cushions, tablecloths, tea ceremony utensils, bags, etc.
