Masuya Takao was commissioned by the Tokugawa Art Museum in Nagoya to restore the "Golden Nenkin Fukusa," and as a result he is famous for having brought the "Nenkin" technique of making gold thread by wrapping gold leaf around cotton thread into a modern style.

The silver thread shines and the appearance changes depending on the angle, making this a very beautiful piece.
